1^st PMF Bancorp Provides Trade Finance to Canton Fair’s United Nations (U.N.) Procurement Program for Chinese Small Business Enterprises (SMEs)

FOSHAN, China--(EON:Enhanced Online News)--1^st PMF Bancorp (www.PMFbancorp.com or www.PMFbancorp.com.cn), a Los Angeles-based private bank lender with offices in China specializing in providing working capital for Small to Medium Sized (SME) U.S. and Chinese companies, was invited by The Canton Fair to speak and support their United Nations Procurement Program in Foshan, China on April 17^th, 2007 during the Spring Canton Fair in Guangzhou. Canton Fair, now officially renamed to The China Import & Export Fair, is the largest platform in China to promote Chinese products for export (and now imported products too). The Canton Fair and PMF Bancorp’s long-standing relationship has resulted in PMF supporting and providing the resources for working capital to SMEs in China for the U.N. Procurement Program. Over 500 Chinese businesses that export products from China attended this day-long event along with national Chinese news coverage. The honored guests were Mr. Khan, the U.N. Chief Procurement Officer, and Stephen Perl, the CFO of 1^st PMF Bancorp (and CEO of Baolida –PMF’s Chinese subsidiary). Mr. Kahn presented the steps for Chinese companies to become certified U.N. vendors. PMF Bancorp provided information on their supportive programs for the Chinese SME’s export factoring and other credit services provided by PMF Bancorp.
