Culinary Institute of Virginia Announces Career Education Expo

NORFOLK, Va.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Culinary Institute of Virginia, the School of Culinary Arts at ECPI College of Technology, is pleased to announce their first ever Career Education Expo to be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 10am to 2pm. The Norfolk-based Culinary Institute of Virginia is located at 2428 Almeda Avenue. Admission to the Career Education Expo is free and attendees with have the opportunity to tour the facility, see exciting demos by Chef Instructors, participate in food tastings, and speak with students, faculty, and staff about future education and career goals.

Culinary Institute of Virginia’s Culinary Arts program includes hands-on training with the emphasis on mastering basic professional culinary skills. Students also participate in externships as part of the Culinary Arts program to provide them with ‘real world’ experience. Flexible program schedules are offered with day, evening, and weekend classes; students can earn their Associate degree in less than 2 years.
