CHICAGO--()--Vertical Claims Management, LLC (VCM) and Verinon Technology Solutions (Verinon) announced the release of Trideo for public use. Trideo is a cutting-edge Risk Management Information System (RMIS) designed to manage professional and general liability claims. Until recently, Trideo has been exclusively available only to claims management clients of VCM.
Since 2003, VCM has had the exclusive endorsement of the American Hospital Association (AHA) for claims and litigation management. Trideo was developed by VCM and Verinon to provide an elite RMIS to American Hospital Association client members. “We take great pride in being the exclusive claims and litigation management company that the AHA turns to and recommends to its members. We are excited to now release one of our greatest client resources for lease by in-house programs, hospitals requiring an unbundled Incident Management system, and self-insured programs looking to take the next step.” Clare Bello, President & CEO of VCM.
Currently, Trideo is used by VCM clients in thirty-one (31) states and has provided exceptional insurance tracking, data management and reporting capabilities across multiple module applications including:
- Incident Management
- Claims Management
- Litigation Management
In conjunction with Trideo’s public release, VCM and Verinon have been presenting the system to medical schools, small community hospitals, physician groups and comprehensive health care systems, and industry brokers. According to Paresh Purohit, Senior Vice-President and General Manager at Verinon, responses has been exciting, “Because of our superior technology, customizable interface, and our ability to price proportionate to a program’s size, we deliver great value not only to the country’s largest health care systems, but also to the independent and small health care organizations as well. We are welcoming health care clients from both ends of the size spectrum at a surprising rate.”
CMS Secondary Reporting Requirements
At the time of this release, Trideo is being expanded to address the upcoming Section 111, Medicare Secondary Payer Reporting Requirements. On this time sensitive issue, Mr. Purohit further expanded saying, “We have built our reputation on exceeding our clients’ expectations by meeting their needs before they recognize them. To that effect, a fourth module that will perform the required CMS query and reporting functions has been in development and will be released shortly for both Trideo’s claims management clients and in an unbundled package for separate leasing.”
About Trideo
Trideo is a web-based RMIS that requires no hardware, software, or user licenses. The system is leased according to claim count, so that clients pay only for what they use on the system. Trideo’s user interface is customized for each program’s unique structure and needs.
