New BTA-Exclusive Workgroup Color MFPs from OKI Printing Solutions Support Enhanced Productivity and High-Quality Output

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI^® Printing Solutions brand, will introduce the CX2640, CX1145 and CX2033 color MFPs at 2009 Information Technology, Education and Exposition (ITEX) in Las Vegas (March 18-19). The innovative new A3 and A4 workgroup color MFPs build on OKI Printing Solutions’ full line of color MFPs offered exclusively through the BTA channel. Featured alongside the award-winning CX3641 MFP, the new products will allow dealers to better handle a wide range of end-user applications, all within the BTA business model to further maximize profitability.

Also to be featured at ITEX booth #609 is the recently-launched CX2633 MFP, introduced in January 2009. This product allows users to print both letter and tabloid media in a space-saving and affordable design, with copying, scanning and faxing functionalities standard. All of the featured products are part of OKI Printing Solutions’ new Managed Print Service offerings, which will also be highlighted at ITEX.

The new line of color MFPs is showcased alongside the industry-first CX3641 A3 color MFP, which continues to redefine the color MFP category by including unprecedented document management integration and color management capabilities as standard features. Embedded EFI SendMe^TM scanning allows for advanced document capture, editing and routing capabilities, as well as optimization of current document management systems such as Microsoft^® SharePoint^®. Embedded EFI Fiery^® System 8e controller enables print workflow management and graphic artist-quality color output.

Key features of the new products being showcased at ITEX include:

CX2640 tabloid/A3 color MFP: With brilliant color quality and high-speed output of 26 pages-per-minute (ppm) color and 40 ppm black-and-white¹, medium workgroups will benefit from embedded EFI Fiery^® System 8e, HD (high-definition) Color and Single Pass Color^™color technologies. Available options include EFI SendMe^TM technology, allowing for greater connectivity and easy conversion of hard-copy documents into electronic form, and enhanced media flexibility that includes banner printing of up to four feet long.
CX1145 tabloid/A3 color MFP: Offering a compelling alternative for medium workgroups that require dedicated monochrome output with the occasional need for color, this solution delivers a low mono cost-per-page (cpp) while allowing the convenience and benefits of color when needed.
CX2033 letter/A4 color MFP: This solution brings color to the desktop in a compact and space-saving design. A fully-functional MFP with HD Color, the CX2033 MFP permits standard print, copy, scan and fax capabilities that allow for the consolidation of multiple devices into a single networked solution.

Other products being showcased at ITEX include OKI Printing Solutions’ complete line of MPS Ready single function color and monochrome printers. OKI Printing Solutions’ new MPS program will meet the needs of customers who are considering integrating a managed print program into their businesses, as well as dealers who currently offer such services but are looking to enhance their current product portfolio.

Products being highlighted as part of this complete offering include: MPS6150c and MPS710c letter/A4 color printers; MPS9650c tabloid/A3 color printer; MPS420b and MPS6500b letter/A4 monochrome printers; and MPS930b tabloid/A3 monochrome printer. With these MPS Ready products, OKI Printing Solutions becomes the only manufacturer to provide single function printers and a full set of tools, products and programs to help the channel grow or develop an MPS program.

The CX2640, CX1145 and CX2033 MFPs, as well as the MPS Ready color and monochrome printers will be available late spring 2009. All products are sold exclusively through OKI Printing Solutions authorized dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
