SAN FRANCISCO--()--Shannon Lydell Carter, a 20-year business development professional in Northern California, has been named Northern California Regional Sales Manager, Frank C. Yetter, SVP of Global Sales announced today.

Carter brings a wealth of sales, sales management and business experience to Business Wire, having worked in numerous content management, software companies and service organizations supporting technology, healthcare and financial services for more than 20 years. Most recently he was founder & Chief Strategist of True Game Companies, an investment holding company which offered solutions to Fortune 1000 technology clients in equity investment strategies and risk management practices.
Carter has extensive direct sales experience and has managed diverse sales groups in a number of companies providing services in e-marketing, content management software, information security and direct mail services.
Carter will oversee Business Wire's sales efforts in San Francisco, Santa Clara and Sacramento.
