SAN DIEGO--()--Morrissey Perfetti, a 15-year veteran of the financial information and IT services industries, has joined Business Wire in the newly created position of regional vice president, Southern California, Gregg Castano, co-chief operating officer, announced today.

Based in San Diego, Perfetti will have overall responsibility for Business Wire's Los Angeles, San Diego and Newport Beach offices.
Perfetti joins Business Wire from Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, a division of the global information services and publishing company. Previously, she served in sales management roles with Dow Jones & Company in Boston and New York, and with the TowerGroup, a division of MasterCard Worldwide, in the western United States.
