Voxitas Names Key Additions to Leading Management Team

ST. LOUIS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Voxitas, a leading service provider of nationwide advanced network services and business class VoIP, today announced the augmentation of two key management positions including Director of Operations to be filled by Mr. Jay Cox and Director of Network Services to be filled by Mr. John Thompson.

Mr. Cox will be responsible for all facets of the Operations Organization including Customer Satisfaction, Provisioning, Network Operations Center and Systems Development while Mr. Thompson will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining Voxitas’ voice and network infrastructure. In addition, he will be responsible for managing engineering support of provisioning and the network operations center (NOC).

With more than 15 years experience in the operations of large Voice and Data Networks, Mr. Cox has led both Engineering and Operations departments at companies such as Ntelos, Virginia Broadband, CentricVoice. As a Certified Nextone Engineer and while serving on Boards of the Virginia Telecommunications Industry Association, Southwestern Regional Technology Council and Center for Innovative Technology, Mr. Cox has testified before the Virginia Corporation Commission and the Tennessee Regulatory Authority in regulatory matters relating to both Telecommunications and Natural Gas Service rate design.

John Thompson has more than 10 years experience managing worldwide Network Engineering and Operations with the largest companies in the world such as, Conagra Foods, First Data Resources and Anheuser-Busch. With his extensive Enterprise Services background, he has deployed, managed and maintained worldwide data networks. His intimate knowledge of technologies, including MPLS, IP and SIP will serve to augment the Voxitas staff and management team. Mr. Thompson designed and implemented mission critical Data Center which served as the World Headquarters for business critical applications and services.
