PASADENA, Calif.--()--This December InviteSite, an online purveyor of DIY wedding invitations, will celebrate their ten year anniversary offering brides and grooms affordable designer wedding stationery. The occasion will be marked by a variety of promotions, including free ground shipping on all orders from September 15 through December 31.
“Our philosophy has always been from hand to hand”
InviteSite was the first wedding invitations company to marry fashion-forward, modern designs with eco-friendly papers. Many of InviteSite’s eco wedding invitations are made from tree-free and 100% post-consumer recycled papers. Tree-free papers include “papers” made from post-harvest waste of mango leaves, sugar cane, and other leaf and grass fibers.
Co-founders Helen Driscoll and Scott Rubel were also pioneers in the indie DIY movement, creating DIY wedding invitation kits that make their customers’ invitations stand out while still saving money.
“Our philosophy has always been from hand to hand,” says Driscoll. “Our designs are from handmade materials. From the hand of artisan papermakers to our antique handfed letterpress printing presses and finally to the customers' hands around the home table.”
All InviteSite designs are fabricated and printed on nineteenth and early twentieth century printing presses in their Pasadena, California facilities. This year InviteSite has added more original artwork with a series of invitations inspired by great artists, including Chagall. The company will soon launch new wedding invitations decorated with the famously winsome drawings of Diana Marye Huff.
