M Booth & Associates Wins Social Media SAMMY Award for Branding Work with Travelzoo

NEW YORK--()--M Booth & Associates earned more social media recognition last week, winning a SAMMY Award for Best Twitter Branding for the agency’s work with Travelzoo. The award honors excellence and breakthrough achievement in social media.

The SAMMY (Social Advertising, Media and Marketing) Awards are conferred by DM2, which publishes digiday:DAILY e-newsletter and hosts the digiday:SOCIAL conference. DM2 is made up of leading social media and marketing experts, journalists, insiders, marketers, publishers and social technology visionaries.

M Booth’s innovative campaign leveraged Travelzoo’s Top 20 e-mail newsletter and last-minute online travel deals with a Twitter presence that powered its customer service function by updating travelers in real time. The launch spearheaded by the M Booth team featured Travelzoo senior editor Gabe Saglie as the personality behind the company, and the follower count now stands at over 11,000, according to Brad Laney, senior vice president of M Booth’s Online Brands practice.
