NAPLES, Fla.--()--Mutual of Omaha Bank has promoted Kevin Hale to Executive Vice President and Director of Community Banking, and appointed John Clark as Naples Market President, the company announced.

In his new role, Hale will join Mutual of Omaha Bank’s executive committee, overseeing the bank’s nationwide community banking operation, including a network of full-service banks in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nebraska, Nevada and Texas. Based out of the bank’s Naples office, Hale also will oversee Mutual of Omaha Bank’s nationwide wealth management group.
Hale has served as Florida State President since joining Mutual of Omaha Bank in October 2008. Under his leadership, Mutual of Omaha Bank has begun an expansion into Florida, including the recent opening of the bank’s first full-service location and state headquarters in Naples.

Hale has more than 30 years of banking experience, holding top executive positions at several Florida banks, including First National Bankshares of Florida and Fifth Third Bank of Florida. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University and the Florida School of Banking at the University of Florida. He also earned a bachelor of law degree from Dalhousie University and is a business administration graduate of Acadia University.
Hale has appointed John Clark to serve as Naples Market President. In this role, Clark will lead all aspects of the bank’s expansion and operations in southwest Florida, overseeing a team of experienced bankers as they offer individuals and businesses a full suite of services, from mortgage lending and wealth management to commercial banking and trust and estate services.
Clark brings 23 years of local banking experience to Mutual of Omaha Bank, including several senior positions at banks in Naples and Fort Myers.
Clark is a graduate of the University of Missouri, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, as well as the University of Virginia’s Graduate School of Banking. He also has completed the Certified Financial Planning curriculum at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, the Senior Management Development Program at Georgia State University in Stone Mountain, Ga., and the Advanced Leadership program at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C.
Clark is actively involved in the community and currently serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association in Naples and is past chair of the Collier County Walk.
