Sprint looking to fill nearly 200 jobs in Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Hiring to support company’s commitment to the market, its business priorities, and help deliver an exceptional experience to its wireless customers

RIO RANCHO, N.M.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Sprint (NYSE: S), the second largest employer in Rio Rancho, is bringing more jobs – lots of them – to the market. With close to 200 positions to fill in its Rio Rancho Contact Center, the jobs are an economic boom for the city during a time when other companies have been downsizing.

Sprint is going to hold an exclusive on-site hiring event on Friday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Rio Rancho Contact Center. The special event is designed for Sprint representatives to meet with interested job-seekers and for candidates to learn more about the positions. In addition to the Sprint event, the company will also take part in the “Gobs of Jobs Career Fair” at the Marriott Albuquerque Pyramid at 5151 San Francisco Road NE in Albuquerque on Tuesday, March 23 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sprint’s Contact Center has been in Rio Rancho for 12 years. One of the routinely highest performing centers in the company, it was named one of the Best Places to Work in New Mexico in 2007 by the New Mexico Business Weekly.
