Raydiance Bolsters Management Team for Next Phase of Rapid Growth

PETALUMA, Calif.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Raydiance Corporation today announced that it has promoted Vice President of Engineering, Dr. Mike Mielke, to the role of Chief Scientist. As the key technical strategist for the company, Dr. Mielke will focus his efforts on developing enabling technologies for government and commercial applications, in addition to mapping out future features, functionality and products for the company as it enters a rapid growth phase.

Dr. Mielke, who has been with Raydiance since its inception in 2004, has led the Raydiance technical team in developing the world’s most advanced ultrafast platform.

For Dr. Mielke’s prior lead engineering role, Raydiance also announces the addition of Mr. Tim Flood as Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Flood joins the company with more than 20 years of product development experience, which includes hardware and software design, product architecture, product line management, and professional services. Mr. Flood has a proven track record in managing complex engineering projects and bringing them to successful market introduction and development. Prior to joining Raydiance, Mr. Flood was Vice President of Engineering and Operations with Red Condor and held engineering and executive management positions with Tellabs (NASDAQ: TLAB), Advanced Fibre Communications (NASDAQ:AFCI), and Mahi Networks.
