“Sales 2.0 tools provide the science, but fundamental personal selling skills are as important as ever in an age when customers have more choices.”
Hosted by Selling Power magazine founder Gerhard Gschwandtner, this show will test the selling skills of 10 sales executives. A panel of judges and the audience will rate the performance of each contestant. Contestants will be challenged to accomplish the following:
- Share their most memorable sale (Prize: iPod shuffle)
- Find accurate and complete contact information about a specific prospect using any Sales 2.0 technology on their own laptop within three minutes (Prize: iPod Nano)
- Deliver a winning one-minute elevator pitch (Prize for judges’ favorite: iPad; Prize for audience favorite: iPod shuffle)
Each challenge is designed to entertain as well as educate the audience about what it takes to succeed in a Sales 2.0 world. “Selling today is all about combining the right technology tools with advanced selling skills,” says Selling Power TV host Gerhard Gschwandtner. “Sales 2.0 tools provide the science, but fundamental personal selling skills are as important as ever in an age when customers have more choices.”
The judging panel for Selling Power TV’s game show includes Anneke Seley, author of Sales 2.0, Garth Moulton, Co-founder of Jigsaw (a salesforce.com company), and Will Wiegler, Senior Director of Marketing of BigMachines.
