GAITHERSBURG, Md.--()--As R users gather from around the world, Revolution Analytics today formally launched the Inside-R.org community site. First rolled out in May in beta form, Inside-R.org is designed to be a comprehensive online resource aggregating R statistics-related content from across the Web in a single location. The site now includes:
“Starting & Building a Local R User Group”
- All of the documentation of the latest version of the R language
- R users can now contribute tips, tricks and R code to solve common problems with the “Method Reference” feature
- A searchable index of contributed packages for R, in the “Package Reference” feature
- A one-click download of the latest version of R, and a “Download R” badge for your own blog or website
- Find answers to R-related questions asked by users of StackOverflow.com
- R Blogs from Revolution Analytics and links to other leading R-bloggers
- Comprehensive search: find the R information you’ve been looking for amongst blogs, documentation, packages, methods, questions, and user comments.
The launch of this latest version of Inside-R. org will be celebrated at a useR! party sponsored by Revolution Analytics on Wednesday, July 21 at 8:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza in Rockville, MD.
Additionally, several Revolution team members, including CEO Norman Nie, will be leading and participating in discussions around developing with and commercializing R this week at the annual useR! 2010 conference. Talks include:
