(PINK SHEETS: WPNV), a wind power infrastructure and smart grid solution company, announced today that it has realigned its management team to complete the full integration of its two operating subsidiaries. As a result of the realignment Ian K. Griffiths was promoted to Chief Technical Officer of WindPower Innovations, Inc.

Mr. Griffiths started his engineering career in the Royal Navy, programming and maintaining Weapon Control Systems. During his 20-year business career he has been an application engineer for Matsushita Corporation and regional sales managers for Mitsubishi Electric and Parker SSD Drives, a division of Parker Hannifin Corporation. Through these experiences he gained extensive knowledge of the Grid Tie Inverter / Green Energy production market. Mr. Griffiths brings with him a team of highly skilled individuals who have assisted him in developing patentable technologies to be utilized to improve the efficiency and longevity of Wind Turbines and other alternative energy applications.
