Spike Awards Announces 2010 Award Winners in Social Product Innovation

ORLANDO, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Kalypso, the world’s premier innovation consulting firm, today announced the winners of the 2010 Spike Awards for best use of social media and social technologies to improve innovation, product development, and product management. The first annual Spike (Social Product Innovation Knowledge Excellence) Awards were announced at the 34th Annual PDMA Conference on Product Innovation Management being held October 16-20, 2010 in Orlando, Florida.

Winners in four industry categories—Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Packaged Goods, and Manufacturing/Other—were chosen by a panel of experts in product innovation and social media. People’s Choice Winner: Kimberly-Clark

Kimberly-Clark was the recipient of the People’s Choice award after receiving 75 percent of the online vote. Kimberly-Clark’s award entry was for Huggies® MomInspired™, a grant program that provides funding for business and product ideas inspired by motherhood.
