Digium CEO Danny Windham Added As Keynote Presenter at ITEXPO

NORWALK, Conn.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--TMC today announced that Digium CEO Danny Windham has been added to the list of Keynote Presenters speaking at ITEXPO East, February 2-4, 2011 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami, Florida.

Windham’s session, scheduled for Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 3:30 PM, will address how Asterisk continues to mature as a telephony platform, with extensive growth in enterprise, government, and carrier markets. Open to all ITEXPO attendees, this session will also be a centerpiece of the Digium|Asterisk World event, an ITEXPO collocation.

He joined ADTRAN in 1989, following ADTRAN's successful acquisition of Processing Telecom Technologies, a company Windham co-founded in 1986. Prior to becoming president/COO in 2005, Windham served as the senior vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Networks Division.

Windham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Mississippi State University, where he was named a Distinguished Engineering Fellow in 2001. He also holds an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology.
