DALLAS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--A survey by intelliVOL (intelliVOL.com) asked 118 Texas public high school principals about community service and volunteerism in their schools. 71 percent of the respondents said a student’s community service record has a significant positive impact on their college application. 94 percent said their schools “require or strongly encourage community service.” The survey was developed and fielded in conjunction with Aperio Insights (http://aperioinsights.com).
