ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--Mike Casey completed his certificate in Congressional Operations from TheCapitol.Net. The Certificate in Congressional Operations is awarded to participants in the program who have completed more than 75 hours of congressional related training.

Mike Casey is the Congressional Liaison for the U.S. Army’s Combined Arms Center at Fort Leavenworth, KS where he prepares CAC senior leaders for visits to Capitol Hill and coordinates congressional visits to Fort Leavenworth.
"The program provided significant insights and guidance about how Congress works and how to work with Congress," he said.
Prior to joining CAC, Mike Casey was an editor and reporter for newspapers, magazines and United Press International. During his career, Mike Casey wrote and edited thousands of stories about many different industries and all levels of government. He won numerous journalistic awards and was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
Mike Casey received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kent State University and earned a Master’s Degree from The Ohio State University, where he was Kiplinger Fellow.
TheCapitol.Net’s Congressional Operations certificate gives professionals the background they need to effectively participate in the legislative arena.
