Digital Keystone to Demonstrate Transcoding Home Gateway at NCTA 2011

CHICAGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Digital Keystone (DK) will showcase the DK Maelstrom™ distributed gateway coupled with the dual transcode capabilities of the Intel® Atom™ processor CE4200 in the Intel booth at NCTA 2011. Maelstrom software, coupled with transcoding supported by Intel CE4200, allows viewers to watch branded premium TV content on a wide variety of devices (TV, PC, mobile) while ensuring all content protection restrictions are strictly enforced. With the addition of dual-transcode support, the Maelstrom ecosystem can provide multiple devices with different live content simultaneously, without any bandwidth burden on the network operator.
