John Thomas Financial CEO Thomas Belesis Receives 2011 Businessman of the Year Award from the New York Republican County Committee

NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Thomas Belesis, CEO of John Thomas Financial, an independent broker/dealer and investment-banking firm located in New York City's Financial District, received the 2011 Businessman of the Year Award from the New York Republican County Committee at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Tuesday, June 14^th at the Grand Hyatt in New York, NY.

Mr. Belesis received this honor on the heels of a similar award from the Queens County Republican Party, which recognized him as the 2011 Businessman of the Year last month at the annual Spring Dinner and Awards Reception.

The New York Republican County Committee Lincoln Day Dinner was hosted by Hon. Daniel W. Isaacs, New York Republican County Committee Chairman. Also presiding over the event were Hon. Edward F. Cox, New York Republican State Committee Chairman, and Hon. Rob Astorino, Westchester County Executive and Master of Ceremonies Curtis Sliwa. Special Guest Texas Governor Rick Perry delivered the keynote address.

Mr. Belesis founded John Thomas Financial in 2007. Since then, the company has grown from a boutique firm with a 500 sq. ft. office to a full-service financial organization.
