The former president of Virgin Mobile Canada, Robert is a veteran telecommunications executive with more than 25 years of experience in the wireless communications and digital media industries.

Before Virgin, Robert held a number of positions that helped drive innovation in wireless and telecommunications including CEO of Digit Wireless, a user interface technology licensing firm, senior vice president of products and services at TELUS, one of Canada’s leading telecommunications companies, and vice president at Clearnet, an early PCS new entrant that was subsequently acquired by TELUS.
To name a few, Robert led the development and market introduction of such services as push-to-talk, intercarrier SMS, picture messaging, mobile music and mobile TV.
