AUSTIN, Texas--()--Cenoplex™, the company that is transforming customer care for wireless operators by harnessing the gap between call placement and connection, announced today that chief financial officer Susan M. Georgen-Saad has been named to the Texas Emerging Technology Fund advisory committee.
“Sue’s appointment is an outstanding choice, and her selection is certain to bring an important perspective to the committee’s work. I couldn’t be more proud to count Sue as a part of my inner circle of advisors at Cenoplex.”
Sue was one of 13 appointments made last week by Gov. Rick Perry to the committee, which reviews commercialization and matching grant proposals from Texas startups, and makes recommendations through evaluation processes to the governor, lieutenant governor and the speaker of the Texas House of Representatives. The appointed members volunteer their time to serve a two-year term on the committee.
“The advisory committee of the Texas Emerging Technology Fund brings together a broad range of backgrounds, interests and professions,” said Gregory O. Welch, president and CEO at Cenoplex. “Sue’s appointment is an outstanding choice, and her selection is certain to bring an important perspective to the committee’s work. I couldn’t be more proud to count Sue as a part of my inner circle of advisors at Cenoplex.”
With more than thirty years of progressively complex financial and operational management experience in public accounting and consulting, Sue maintained a full-service investment management and managerial services consulting practice prior to joining Cenoplex earlier this year. She has held numerous executive management positions, including CFO and chief administrative officer roles, with notable companies in the healthcare, research and investing industries including Clinicor, and IntelliQuest Information Group.
Her career started in the audit department at KPMG Peat Marwick, where her clients included companies and organizations in the financial services, healthcare, real estate and pension industries. In addition, she has supervised financial, treasury, accounting and operational programs at Residential Capital Corporation, Ameriway Savings Association, and Mercantile Mortgage Corporation. Sue is a certified public accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
