Centice Corporation Adds Analytical Instrumentation Business Line to Company Strategy

MORRISVILLE, N.C.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Centice Corporation, a pioneer in chemical verification and identification using Raman spectroscopy and computational sensor technology, announced today the addition of a new business line in analytical instruments and advanced sensor technology platforms. The company, originally founded on Coded Aperture Raman Spectroscopy, will apply this unique and patented methodology to a variety of sensor technologies. To support this new direction, the Board of Directors has promoted Dr. Prasant Potuluri from CTO to CEO. Dr. Potuluri is a co-founder of the company and has served as CTO from the company’s inception. In addition, Dr. Brett Guenther has been promoted to V.P. of R&D and Engineering. Dr. Guenther is an industry known expert in advanced optics and the development of imaging systems. He is a Georgia Tech graduate and did a post doc at the University of Arizona’s College of Optical Sciences.
