Comcast Promotes Peter Kiriacoulacos to Executive Vice President of Comcast Cable and Appoints Him Senior Vice President of NBCUniversal

Will Serve As The Chief Procurement Officer of Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal

PHILADELPHIA--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK), one of the world’s leading media, entertainment and communications companies, announced today it has promoted Peter Kiriacoulacos to Executive Vice President of Procurement for Comcast Cable, reporting to Dave Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Comcast Cable. Additionally, the company announced he has been appointed Senior Vice President of Procurement for NBCUniversal, reporting to Stuart Epstein, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, NBCUniversal. Marcia Haynes, who has helped build a world-class procurement operation at NBCUniversal, will continue to lead that function at NBCUniversal and will report to Mr. Kiriacoulacos. Mr. Kiriacoulacos previously served as Senior Vice President of Procurement for Comcast Cable.

As the Chief Procurement Officer of Comcast Cable and NBCUniversal, Mr. Kiriacoulacos will be responsible for the combined procurement function and will lead material and enterprise-wide capital and operating expense-based vendor negotiations, including overseeing supplier diversity initiatives, among many other areas.

Prior to joining Comcast nearly five years ago, Mr. Kiriacoulacos served as Vice President of Global Procurement at Liberty Global, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science and post-graduate degrees in Commerce from the University of South Australia, Adelaide. Mr. Kiriacoulacos also serves as a National Trustee Board Member for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
