Endeka Hires CEO Hans A. Petersen

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Privately held Wireless Internet Services Provider Endeka Group, Inc. announced today that it has hired Hans A. Petersen, MBA as its Chief Executive Officer. Tim Rout will continue as the Company’s full-time President and Founder.

Hans Petersen is also a founding member of the Endeka Board of Directors, with over 20 years of successful operations leadership, venture finance, business development and M&A experience.

About Hans A. Petersen

Prior to accepting the role as CEO of Endeka, most recently Hans was the CEO, Founder and Director of Traversa from 2006 until 2011. During his tenure at Traversa, Hans raised $10 million in venture equity and debt financing and closed several large agreements with Fortune 500 companies, including a publicly announced agreement between Traversa and Sanofi-Aventis in 2010. Prior to Traversa, Mr. Petersen held executive, management and engineering leadership roles at computational modeling, enterprise, internet and defense software companies. Hans earned his MBA from the University of San Diego, graduating as valedictorian, and completed his B.S. in Computer Science at Virginia Tech.
