EXTENSION adds expert clinical resource to further advance customer experiences

FORT WAYNE, Ind.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--EXTENSION, INC. announced today that the company has hired Tom Berger, RN, BSN, MS as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to help connect the needs of its growing customer base with the capabilities of its award-winning clinical alerting and messaging solutions. In his new role, Berger will work with the implementation team to provide clinical integration support, advice, and direction of production, trial, and lab implementations of EXTENSION solutions.

Berger will assimilate his clinical knowledge and expertise in health IT with EXTENSION’s solutions to consult with clients about their most pervasive communications problems and help determine the most appropriate workflows and rules to solve them. EXTENSION’s most popular workflows include nurse call alerts, critical lab result notifications, HIPAA-compliant text messaging, full report availability notifications, and staff assignment.
