Young America and EcoRebates Partner with Lowe’s To Power New Online Rebate Center

Comprehensive tool integrates utility, manufacturer and retail offers to give customers a simplified way to find and apply multiple discounts on wide range of products

EDINA, Minn.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Young America, an incentive marketing firm, has partnered with EcoRebates, a Web and mobile rebate solutions provider, to create a new online tool that compiles and presents utility energy rebates alongside available manufacturer or retailer-specific offers to help customers easily find, apply and submit incentive offers on a wide range of products.

Through this partnership, consumers may now utilize the Lowe’s Online Rebate Center to search for combined utility and manufacturer offers to find lower prices for energy-efficient products, such as appliances, light bulbs and even paint. EcoRebates integrates incentives from manufacturers and merchants combined with over 3,800 different utility and state rebate programs, matching them to over 200,000 product SKUs at the zip-code level and giving Lowe’s customers unprecedented access to multiple discounts in one easy-to-use platform.

The Rebate Center allows consumers to search, submit and check the status of rebate submissions online and is integrated with Lowe’s point-of-sale system, alerting store associates of any rebates on qualified purchases so they can inform customers at checkout.

Battles also noted that many utilities are actually facing legislative mandates to reduce energy consumption by significant amounts.
