LOS ANGELES--()--Austin Dyne Racing announces 20 year old NASCAR K&N Pro Series West rookie Austin Dyne drove his Sunrise Racing Ford to a strong 7th place finish in Saturday night’s Toyota Napa 150 at Havasu 95 Speedway. Dyne, making his first K&N start, had a goal of keeping his car on the track, and finishing the race in the top ten during the 150 laps of his debut at the ¼ mile oval. He did all that and more.
“I want to thank owner Bob Bruncati and the entire Sunrise Racing team for providing me with a fast car, that felt comfortable anywhere I put it on the track”
Qualifying 9th, he skillfully worked his way forward, and at one point ran as high as fifth. “I want to thank owner Bob Bruncati and the entire Sunrise Racing team for providing me with a fast car, that felt comfortable anywhere I put it on the track,” said Dyne. “It’s a real credit to the team work, and equipment Sunrise provides me that lets a rookie earn a 7th place finish in my first race with the team.”
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series is made up of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the K&N Pro Series West. This division represents NASCAR’s top regional touring series, where competitors refine their skills before making the jump to one of NASCAR’s three national series.
The next event on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West schedule is the Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park on April 28.
