RF IDeas pcProx® Plus Now Available with Serial Interface

This reader gives customers all the features and benefits that come with the standard pcProx Plus device, while adding the serial connection interface. With RF IDeas’ patented technology, pcProx Plus is the only reader in the industry that combines the capability to read over 35 different 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz proximity and contactless smart cards into one single reader.

In addition to being compatible with more 35 different card types, the device is highly configurable and capable of simultaneously handling any two of the available technologies. pcProx Plus with serial interface provides flexibility for those customers whose equipment lacks a general USB connection.

This multi-technology device was designed for those customers who require RS232 serial cable connectivity. The plug-n-play reader allows users to use their existing building access card or any 125 kHz or 13.56 MHz tags/labels for other forms of identification throughout the building.
