The two-hour online course, 12 Opportunities to Reduce Energy Usage, will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT. It will be presented by Paul Stiller, director of energy management for Summit Energy Services, and will discuss the following:
- How to use data loggers to help reduce peak demand charges and evaluate the efficiency of HVAC and lighting systems, motors, and compressed air systems
- Real-world examples of 12 energy reduction measures resulting from workshops conducted with over 500 industrial and commercial facilities
- Problem-solving strategies to identify energy waste and sustain energy savings
The course is aimed at facility and plant managers, energy engineers, and other energy management professionals. It is approved for two GBCI credit hours. The first 50 registrants will receive an Onset HOBO® U10-003 Temp/RH Data Logger and HOBOware Lite graphing and analysis software.
