CAMP HILL, Pa.--()--Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) announced today that The Rite Aid Foundation is making a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help the victims, families and communities affected by Hurricane Isaac.

Nearly all Rite Aid pharmacies affected by the powerful storm in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi are open and serving the prescription and merchandise needs of the local residents Rite Aid has increased staffing in stores throughout the region to assist local residents. The company is working closely with local authorities to reopen any of its locations closed due to power outages.
