SAN DIEGO & NEW YORK--()--The Council on Accreditation (COA), an international accreditor of community-based social and behavioral healthcare services, and Essential Learning, the leading provider of e-learning solutions to the behavioral health and human service industries, today announced their partnership to develop a series of online courses designed to assist organizations throughout the accreditation process.

The goal is to create a series of self-paced, online courses which will be developed by Essential Learning and made available through COA. Essential Learning will serve as the approved exclusive online training partner for COA. Additionally, COA will review and approve Essential Learning’s existing crosswalk of their online content to COA’s accreditation standards. Combined, these initiatives will help meet COA’s aim to provide superior training and support tools to accredited, in-process and prospective organizations.
