New CNA Umbrella Leader Appointed to Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Zones

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CNA Financial Corporation (NYSE: CNA) today announced the appointment of Cheryl Paton as the Assistant Vice President for Umbrella. She joins CNA’s New York office, and will be leading the Umbrella teams for both the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Zones.

Paton brings extensive industry experience to this role including 19 years in umbrella and excess. She comes to CNA from Navigators Management Company, where she served as Vice President, Excess Casualty, responsible for starting and growing their umbrella and excess book of business with retail producers in the New York territory. Prior to this role, she held positions of increasing responsibility in both claim and underwriting throughout her 19 years with Chartis.
