NORWALK, Conn.--()--Cloud content solutions provider Brightcove has joined the incredible lineup of companies speaking at Video World Conference & Expo, TMC announced. Chris Johnston, Vice President of Digital Media Solutions & Partnerships for Brightcove, will discuss how cloud-based video applications are helping companies expand their brands – and their revenue. Video World Conference & Expo will be held October 3-5 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas, and is collocated with ITEXPO, the world’s largest and best-attended communications and technology trade show.
“Brightcove has taken a strong position in helping the video industry understand how to generate revenue from cloud-based video services”
Brightcove provides cloud content solutions that enable users to build and operate exceptional media experiences across PCs, smartphones, tablets and connected TVs. The company’s family of products is used to publish and distribute digital media, and include online video and mobile application platforms.
Johnston will present “Apps-olutely! Creating Applications to Expand the Brand – and Revenue” on Thursday, October 4, at 2 p.m. CDT – a session for cable and wireless providers looking to innovate subscriber experience and generate new revenue streams. Johnston will discuss the latest approaches to creating intelligent cloud-based video applications that open the door to greater functionality and more features.
“Consumers spend more time on mobile apps than they do on the mobile web, underscoring the significant opportunity and importance of a solid app strategy,” Johnston said. “We’ll explore how consumers are currently engaging with their favorite content through mobile apps and explore the keys to some successful apps that are already deployed in the market.”
“Brightcove has taken a strong position in helping the video industry understand how to generate revenue from cloud-based video services,” said Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC. “We’re very pleased that Chris Johnston and Brightcove will be bringing this message to our Video World Conference & Expo audience this fall in Austin.”
