BAE Systems and AIA to Host Stop Sequestration Rally for Employees in Nashua, N.H.

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAE Systems, in conjunction with the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), will host an employee rally Sept. 10 in Nashua, N.H. to highlight the importance of the defense and aerospace industry to the U.S. economy and our national security. Hundreds of BAE Systems employees will join Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Kelly Ayotte, among other officials at the event, to express their concerns over sequestration and its impact on the state of New Hampshire.

According to a recent economic impact analysis conducted by economist Dr. Stephen Fuller of George Mason University, New Hampshire could lose more than 3,600 defense-related jobs if the sequestration mandated by the Budget Control Act is triggered.
