DALLAS--()--September 8 marks the first ever National Planting Day. So grab your shovel and gardening gloves and celebrate sustainability with Associa Green, Associa’s green initiative.

How long does it take for water to reach flower petals?
- Fill a vase with water.
- Squeeze drops of a bright food coloring (red recommended) into the water so that it is completely colored.
- Put a white rose or daisy into the vase.
- Have kids predict how long it will take for the petals to turn red.
- Watch it grow.
