West Virginia Selects Scytl as Statewide Provider of Electronic Ballot Delivery to Military & Overseas Voters

BALTIMORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Scytl, a worldwide election technology leader has been selected by the State of West Virginia to provide its SecureBallot™ electronic ballot delivery (EBD) solution for U.S. military and overseas voters throughout the state. The state’s decision to select Scytl came after a competitive bidding process where proposals for technology solutions from multiple providers were evaluated.

The State of West Virginia used Scytl’s technology to provide online voting options to military and overseas voters during the state’s Primary, Special and General Elections in 2010 under a pilot program created by West Virginia legislation. During this pilot, Scytl’s technology was used in West Virginia’s Jackson, Kanawha, Marshall, Mason, Monongalia, Monroe, Putnam and Wood Counties.
