NEW YORK--()--Hill+Knowlton Strategies announced the appointment of Amy Rosenberg as executive vice president and U.S. director of media relations. She will be based in the New York office.

Amy will be responsible for providing clients with high-level strategic communications counsel, and developing and leading media relations programs to meet client objectives. She will also be responsible for practice development and will work with the U.S. management team on a media relations practice framework and key new program offerings. In addition, Amy will operate as an active member of the senior leadership team, establishing media relationships and new business.

Prior to joining H+K Strategies, Amy was a managing director in Burson-Marsteller’s corporate practice, and leader of the firm’s financial media relations and communications program. She has more than 19 years of experience as a specialist in financial communications for both traditional financial services firms and companies seeking to increase shareholder value with institutional and retail shareholders. In the 2012 Gorkana Survey of Financial Journalists, Amy was cited by U.S.-based financial journalists as one of the top-15 most respected PR professionals.
Amy joined Burson-Marsteller after serving as managing director and director of media relations at Financial Dynamics where she provided media relations counsel to U.S. and international clients. Before joining FD, Amy worked at UBS Investment Bank (formerly PaineWebber) where she served as the North American director of media relations for research and trading. Earlier in her career, Amy was a vice president at Rubenstein Associates and an account executive at Manning Selvage & Lee. Amy began her career at MWW Strategic Communications.
