Fans across the country can help their favorite artists raise money for kids in need by making a donation to their individual fundraising pages. In addition to an artist donation, fellow optimists can also get involved by creating their own fundraising page at Lifeisgood.com/Festival or by purchasing a Festival ticket.
“We’re excited to be participating in the Life is good Festival again this year because we believe in the spirit of promoting positivity and in the good work of The Life is good Playmakers,” said Michael Franti. “Whether you join us at the Festival or throw your own backyard concert with friends, everyone can contribute to the fundraising movement to help kids in need.”
About the Festival
One hundred percent of funds raised and all of Life is good’s net profits from the Festival, including Festival merchandise, will be donated to The Life is good Playmakers.
Adult tickets are $65 for one day, $120 for a two-day pass; kids’ tickets (2-12 years) are $20 for one day, $35 for a two-day pass; kids under two years are admitted for free. Tickets are available at Lifeisgood.com/festival.
In addition to enjoying the Festival lineup, fundraisers can earn the title, “Very Good People” (VGP), and receive exclusive perks and concert privileges based on total funds raised. Rewards packages vary by funding level but include everything from private acoustic performances, meet and greets with Festival artists, on-stage concert viewing, and access to the VGP lounge at the Festival.
“We’ve teamed up with incredible musical talent, and are thrilled that they are inspiring others to join the fundraising movement,” said Bert Jacobs, chief executive optimist for Life is good. “With a community of fundraisers working together, we can surpass our goal of raising over $1 million to help kids in need.”

Superfly Presents was founded in New Orleans in 1996 by Kerry Black, Rick Farman, Richard Goodstone and Jonathan Mayers. Originally set up to become the leading independent local concert promoter, they created the Superfly During JazzFest series, which is now in its 14th year. In 2002, they co-founded and continue to produce the iconic Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. Since its inception in 2002, Bonnaroo swiftly earned its status as the country’s premier music and arts event and Rolling Stone called the festival “one of the 50 moments to change the history of rock and roll.” In 2008, Superfly co-founded the acclaimed San Francisco-based Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival. The company has also created the Superfly Marketing Group, a boutique entertainment-marketing agency designed to complement Superfly’s diverse divisions. Superfly Marketing Group leverages the company’s experience, expertise and industry relationships to develop brand partnerships geared towards the passionate entertainment and lifestyle consumer.
