BOSTON--()--Today, Life is good announced that artists performing at the 2012 Life is good Festival will launch individual fundraising pages to raise money for The Life is good Playmakers, the Boston-based lifestyle brand’s nonprofit that provides education, resources and support to frontline childcare providers dedicated to helping kids in need. Sara Bareilles, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and The Fresh Beat Band are among the musicians launching pages to help Life is good raise over $1 million for kids in need at the Life is good Festival, September 22-23 at Prowse Farm, Canton, Mass.
“With a community of fundraisers working together, we can surpass our goal of raising over $1 million to help kids in need.”
Fans across the country can help their favorite artists raise money for kids in need by making a donation to their individual fundraising pages. In addition to an artist donation, fellow optimists can also get involved by creating their own fundraising page at Lifeisgood.com/Festival or by purchasing a Festival ticket.
Fans unable to attend are encouraged to follow Life is good on Twitter (@Lifeisgood) and Facebook for exclusive content and updates from the Festival.
“We’re excited to be participating in the Life is good Festival again this year because we believe in the spirit of promoting positivity and in the good work of The Life is good Playmakers,” said Michael Franti. “Whether you join us at the Festival or throw your own backyard concert with friends, everyone can contribute to the fundraising movement to help kids in need.”
