Rob Schiller, President of R&B JAAMZS, Inc. Continues Commitment to Political Support for Jan Perry’s Mayoral Bid

LOS ANGELES--()--R&B JAAMZS, Inc. President Rob Schiller, an Emmy-award winning Hollywood director and producer, continues his commitment to philanthropy by supporting political fundraising that can improve the economic future for the City of Los Angeles and our nation.

“Her heritage as an African American Jewish woman enables her to connect with the diverse constituency of Los Angeles, bring the city together and improve the quality of life in the future.”

Schiller’s recent political fundraiser supported the mayoral race in the City of Los Angeles for Los Angeles Councilwoman Jan Perry at an intimate evening gathering for 20 guests at his home in Hancock Park. Schiller and likeminded supporters believe Perry is a refreshing and genuine candidate who has a track record of accomplishments to become the next Mayor of Los Angeles.

“I admire and support Jan Perry because she has done extraordinary work in rebuilding and revitalizing downtown L.A. as a business center and destination,” said Schiller, president of Los Angeles based production company R&B JAAMZS, Inc. “Her heritage as an African American Jewish woman enables her to connect with the diverse constituency of Los Angeles, bring the city together and improve the quality of life in the future.”

Perry recently authored a motion to endorse Proposition 35 (the CASE Act), an initiative on the November ballot to fight human trafficking and the exploitation of women and children. She has been transforming run down urban areas into vibrant, healthy neighborhoods that include usable parks, farmers’ markets and clean air.

In addition to local political involvement, Schiller has supported President Barack Obama, hosting a private event at the home of John and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, owner and CEO of the Gotham Group and founder of the Young Storytellers Foundation. Schiller also organized public fundraisers for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.

“I stand behind these politicians because they have an awareness of diversity and the ability to unite us all for a common goal of moving our city and nation forward,” added Schiller. “Building strong communities will help foster a financially viable nation for all of us to work and live in, and be able to enjoy.”
