WETHERBY, UK--()--PROACTIS, a global Spend Control and eProcurement solution provider, has signed an agreement with Conwy County Borough Council that will see the company drive purchasing compliance with a single, integrated eProcurement solution, PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay.
“We welcome Conwy County Borough Council as a Purchase-to-Pay customer in North Wales, a group whose momentum has been building up over the years with the addition of customers like Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council, Wrexham County Borough Council and Grwp Llandrillo Menai”
Conwy County Borough Council is the sixth largest local authority in Wales and spends £186 million on goods and services to support front-line services. Committed to increasing performance and productivity the Council will use PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay to cut costs and more effectively manage spending. "PROACTIS will help us drive purchasing compliance in two ways: by guiding individual requisitioners to goods and services of contracted suppliers; and by enforcing governance to review or redirect spending where necessary," says Phil Brooks, Conwy’s Accountancy Manager.
PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay will simplify the purchasing process by providing easy access to electronic supplier catalogues and "punch out" to websites for direct purchases, as well as streamlined submission and full visibility of purchase requests. It provides managers with electronic approval including immediate visibility of request details and related financial information to support budget control. PROACTIS Purchase-to-Pay will also dramatically reduce the time, cost, and potential for error in the organisation's handling of incoming supplier invoices.
PROACTIS has seen an influx of new customers from the public sector looking for eProcurement, online catalogues and eInvoicing as a way to unlock big savings from their ordering and buying process. "We welcome Conwy County Borough Council as a Purchase-to-Pay customer in North Wales, a group whose momentum has been building up over the years with the addition of customers like Denbighshire County Council, Flintshire County Council, Wrexham County Borough Council and Grwp Llandrillo Menai," says Simon Dadswell, Marketing Director of PROACTIS. "It’s great to see public sector organisations recognise that PROACTIS makes the difference in realising the full potential of Spend Control initiatives while improving productivity," continues Simon.
The agreement includes PROACTIS Purchasing, Invoice Receipt, Invoice Matching and Financial Integration capabilities.
