Goold Health Systems teams with Cambridge International Systems to Win National Institutes of Health IT Services and Solutions Contract

AUGUSTA, Maine--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Goold Health Services (GHS), a nationally recognized health care management company, recently announced it is on the winning team of the Chief Information Officer – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) for IT solutions and services.

As a subcontractor to Cambridge International Systems, GHS is now pre-qualified and eligible to directly market and compete for federal government IT efforts that focus on health and scientific projects. CIO-SP3 is a 10-year contract with a $20 billion ceiling value and represents new business for GHS.

CIO-SP3 provides a vehicle for federal departments and agencies to easily procure IT services and solutions ranging from CIO support to integration services to software development. Awardees have gone through a rigorous source selection process, which according to the NITAAC website includes dimensions such as: technical capabilities, past performance, and cost.
