PASADENA, Calif.--()--NewBay Media, a leading publisher of digital content creation media, today announced that Digital Video Expo (www.dvexpo.com) is presenting a full schedule of free daily educational and social events, open to all attendees. The 16th annual Expo is expected to draw thousands of creative professionals to the Pasadena Convention Center from September 19-21, for three days of intensive education, training, and networking events. Held on the show floor, the Expo's free events are scheduled for September 19-20.

A Conversation With Academy Award-Winning Editor Paul Hirsch A.C.E. (Wednesday, September 19th at 12:00 pm) – Join a lively discussion session with Hirsch, whose storied career ranges from “Carrie” to “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” including the first “Star Wars” film, for which he received an Academy Award.

DVE Backstage – This area on the show floor will play host to a series of educational sessions aimed at working creative professionals. Sessions include “Production Process Management,” “Business Tips to Keep Your Production Company In Business,” and “Tips for Winning Clients With Your Online Presence,” each designed to help producers expand and evolve their businesses.

Presentation TheaterThe industry’s leading companies will take audiences through their latest breakthrough products and technologies. Participating presenters include Sony, Panasonic, and IBM (The LTO Program).

Digital Video Expo DrawingsHeld twice-daily Wednesday, September 19th and Thursday, September 20th, the drawings, now a Digital Video Expo tradition, offer event attendees the chance to win thousands of dollars worth of products. Attendees must be present to win.

Evening Group Meetings Digital Media Artists LA and LA Final Cut Pro User Group will hold their monthly meetings on Wednesday evening. The meetings are also open to all attendees of DV Expo.
