PHOENIX--()--Phoenix-area Sizzler fans will no longer need to head west to enjoy the restaurant’s famous steaks, seafood and Endless Salad Bar when a new Sizzler opens Sept. 12 in Mesa.
“Now we can tell them, ‘we’re back!’”
The McDaniel family, which owns and operates two Sizzlers on the West side of Phoenix, spent three months completely remodeling a former Taco Tote restaurant at 1050 Country Club Dr. The Mesa Sizzler will be the first in Phoenix to take advantage of Sizzler’s all-new, updated design.
“There was a Sizzler years ago in Mesa, and many of our East side guests who dine with us at other restaurants keep asking when we are going to return,” said Owner Wayne McDaniel. “Now we can tell them, ‘we’re back!’”
Guests who have not visited Sizzler in a while are in for a pleasant surprise, McDaniel said. “Sizzler today is really the best of what people remember –great food and fast service at an unbeatable value – but even better. We have improved the quality of our steaks, which are cut fresh every day in-house, and our soups, salads and breads are now baked fresh, in-house.”
The new restaurant will feature Sizzler’s extremely popular Value Menus, which start at $9.99 for dinner and include salad bar. The lunch Value Menu starts at $4.99.
The McDaniel family, which has operated Sizzlers in Phoenix since 1996, is proud to be contributing to the East Valley’s economic turnaround. According to McDaniel, the restaurant is an area undergoing redevelopment. It is approximately 6,000 square feet, seats approximately 185 guests and employs 80 staff members.
The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Carryout is available.
