LAKE GENEVA, Wis.--(Primex Wireless – the leading provider of solutions to automate and maintain facility compliance, increase efficiencies and reduce risk for enterprise organizations – announced enhancements to three of its trusted product lines available with the newest version of its Application Management Platform (AMP 3.3): Indoor Air Quality Sensors, Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities for Synchronous Network System (SNS)™ Digital Clocks, and the Square Traditional Series, a new contemporary analog clock styling.)--
“Combining the new sensors with the web-based AMP 3.3 software enables the facilities team or other responsible staff to easily monitor indoor air quality as well as document compliance with any regulatory requirements and standards.”
New sensors available for AMP 3.3 monitor three dimensions of indoor air quality: Ambient Air Temperature; Ambient Air Humidity; and, Carbon Dioxide levels.
“Indoor air quality is a significant factor in health and safety considerations for facilities of many kinds, such as medical centers, manufacturing floors and buildings with large auditorium style rooms,” said Mike O’Brien, Director, Product Marketing, for Primex Wireless. “Combining the new sensors with the web-based AMP 3.3 software enables the facilities team or other responsible staff to easily monitor indoor air quality as well as document compliance with any regulatory requirements and standards.”
As AMP 3.3 continuously gathers sensor data, comprehensive reports about air quality literally are at the fingertips of the facilities team and other parties, such as regulatory agencies. The system also sends email or text alerts when air quality conditions reach unacceptable or dangerous levels. Indoor air quality monitoring ensures a healthy and safe environment for all building occupants.
SNS™ Digital Clocks & Timers with Power over Ethernet (PoE)
New SNS™ Digital Clocks and Timers utilize PoE, the same technology that powers IP phones, which is a network standard that delivers DC power to Ethernet-connected devices. PoE capability eliminates the need for wall transformers, allows centralized UPS backup and is fully compatible with powered and non-powered Ethernet devices. Digital Clocks, elapsed and code blue timers may now all be configured for PoE, AC or battery power options.
The new contemporary square styling for SNS analog clocks carries the same features and construction as the round Traditional Series Analog Clocks. Simple dials and durable polystyrene frames and lenses allow easy viewing. The Clock Lock feature prevents unauthorized removal of clocks from walls, and shatterproof lenses provide added safety. The Traditional Series Square clock is also available in the XR Time Synchronization system.
