PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SpotterRF today announced that its new, patented radar technology will be used to protect public bridges managed by the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA). Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is leading a project to upgrade the security at five Maryland bridges, as well as the security operations center, and will integrate SpotterRF radar technology in the project. The integration of this breakthrough compact surveillance radar provides wide area intrusion detection of more than 150 acres and 90 degrees per radar unit regardless of weather conditions or visibility.
