ZWANENBURG, Netherlands--()--AEG Power Solutions announces the appointment of Susanne Wibbe as the new Vice-President and General Manager of its Energy Efficiency Solutions Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Susanne Wibbe follows in this position Dietmar Papenfort who is leaving the company to follow new professional objectives after a significant career within AEG Power Solutions, started in 1992.
Susanne Wibbe will drive the organization of the SBU and its business plans aiming at achieving further performance improvements for this strategic business segment.

The Energy Efficiency Solutions SBU was formed at the end of 2010 as a combination of the former industrial & infrastructure and telecoms power divisions of AEG Power Solutions to create synergies by combining all businesses involved in reliable, high availability power supply for energy, transportation and communication infrastructure.
Susanne Wibbe, joined AEG Power Solutions in January 2012 as Business Strategy Director of the Energy Efficiency Solutions SBU. Since 2001, Wibbe had developed her strategic consulting and interim management business, under the name of Wibbe Management Solutions. Through this structure she has led long term projects to restructure, reorganize or optimize industrial processes in business units and has also implemented worldwide product and market strategies. Her diverse experience spans a wide range of business players from Deutsche Post to Freudenberg Gruppe or Hauck & Aufhäuser where she led an acquisition process for a major pump manufacturer. Prior to the creation of her consulting business, Susanne Wibbe served as head of the department of engineering and construction for Berliner Wasser Betriebe (BWB) and as CEO of HMB GmbH, a subsidiary of Hako-Werke Group, cleaning technologies specialist, where she started her career. Susanne Wibbe graduated from TUD (Technische Universität Darmstadt) in Germany in mechanical engineering and business administration. She also studied at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), France and holds degrees in IT and French.
