Ambinder, 33, has enjoyed a career as an author, journalist, editor and political correspondent that includes tenures as chief political consultant to CBS News, politics editor at The Atlantic and contributing editor at GQ. Ambinder, author of The Command: Inside the President’s Secret Army and a well-regarded intelligence and national security analyst, last served as White House correspondent at The National Journal.
