Guidepost Solutions Expands in Washington, D.C.; Former Homeland Security ICE Leader Julie Myers Wood Appointed President

ICS’s unique expertise across the federal trade, commerce, regulatory and law enforcement landscape and its deep experience in Washington, D.C. significantly extends Guidepost Solutions’ offering for client organizations facing a broad range of compliance, investigations and security challenges.

Effective immediately, ICS founder Julie Myers Wood will serve as Guidepost Solutions’ President of Compliance, Federal Practice and Software Solutions. Ms. Myers Wood will also lead the company’s growing Washington, D.C. operations.

Ms. Myers Wood started ICS Consulting (www.iandcsolutions.com) nearly four years ago after serving at the helm of the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Prior to that, Ms. Myers Wood was Assistant Secretary for Export Enforcement at the Department of Commerce. Her experience also includes serving as Chief of Staff for the Criminal Division at the Department of Justice, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Treasury Department (Money Laundering and Financial Crimes) and Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York (EDNY).

Additionally, in the transaction Guidepost Solutions is acquiring a number of industry-leading software solutions.
